O’Rourke’s Peak Cellars is located in beautiful Lake Country, BC, surrounded by vineyards, orchards, and beautiful mountain views. We are currently recruiting for Accounts Receivable Administrator.
Location: Lake Country, BC. Please note: there is no direct access to public transportation. This is an on-site position.
Role and Responsibility:
- Reconcile daily cash outs and enter into accounting system
- Record customer invoices
- Reconcile wholesale customer invoices
- Calculate 3rd party commissions
- Collection of outstanding customer invoices
- Respond to customer inquiries and solve discrepancies
- Support to accounting team as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum two (2) years full cycle accounts receivable/bookkeeping/accounting experience.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Job costing
- Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Must possess a high level of moral judgment for handling confidential information and monetary transactions.
- Basic knowledge of accounting systems, budgets, and internal controls.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the company.
- Extremely reliable, mature and professional.
- Highly resourceful, intuitive and flexible.

Peak Cellars has finished up a major restaurant expansion, and we are looking for Line Cooks to join our incredible team of food lovers. Located in Lake Country, BC, Peak Cellars has a ½ acre garden with two greenhouses and berry bushes that our Garden Bistro uses to prepare dishes with newly-harvested ingredients. Description:
Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine, the duties of a Line Cook include executing the menu on line to EC standards, prepping MEP for following shifts, and assisting the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef with functions and daily evolving tasks.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of a Line Cook include, but are not limited to:
- Setting up stations to EC standards
- Maintaining a clean work station to EC standards
- Maintaining FIFO practice
- Uphold safety and hygiene to EC high standards
- Break down station
- Checking dates on all stock in station
- Leaving work stations clean, organized and sanitized to the EC standard for the next shift
- Recording any stock that was used to completion or near completion
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude conductive to desired kitchen culture

Description:
Reporting to the Concierge Coordinators, a Housekeeping Attendant must maintain the multiple facility’s general cleanliness to provide clean and sanitary amenities to guests and Clients.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of a Housekeeping Attendant include, but are not limited to:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing all furniture and fixtures in all facilities
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected to facility standards
- Cleaning, scrubbing and sanitizing of toilets, showers, bathtubs, countertops and sinks
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen area including all appliances and sinks
- Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping and vacuuming of floors
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors and counters as needed
- Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed
- Maintain stock levels of linens and towels in all guest homes
- Sorting, washing, loading and unloading laundry for guest homes
- Ironing and steaming of appropriate laundry items for guest homes
- Keeping all bathrooms stocked with appropriate supplies
- Tidying up rooms as needed
- Monitoring cleaning supplies and advise when new orders are required
- Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
- Emptying trash and recycling receptacles
Requirements:
- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Work well unsupervised
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time
- Ability to lift 40lbs
- Pays attention to detail when cleaning
- Handle basic maintenance and cleaning
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to follow verbal directions

Reporting to the supervisor, the job of the Commercial Industrial Cleaner is to keep the site clean and organized.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Commercial Industrial Cleaner include, but are not limited to:
- Using necessary solvents and chemicals in order to effectively remove dirt and stains.
- Power washing windows and frames,
- Cleaning walls, door frames, baseboards.
- Remove stains and spots such as paint, caulking splashes, and adhesive residue.
- Proper disposal of debris and trash.
- Complying with all safety policies and procedures.
- Respond to cleanup requests as necessary.
- Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others.
- Other duties as needed.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous custodian, janitorial or housekeeping experience is required.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

- CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support.
